CHARACTER BUILDING | 2 - LONDON'S CV

People's postcard messages at the end of exhibitions are quite often more interesting than the exhibitions themselves... I found this at The Building Centre. Perfect for the Character Building Series.

CHARACTER BUILDING | 2 - LONDON'S CV

Is London a He or a She?

Is there value in thinking of a city as having a personality: a gender, a sense of itself, likes and dislikes?

Is it simply a reflection of our own lives and the way we live in that city?

Is each interpretation of the city simply one of our own schizophrenic personalities?

Can we fall out and make up with a city?

Can we fall in love with a city?

When a city has a clear personality do the people of that city feel united?

Does a defined personality attract more tourists?

Can a city grow senile?

Does a city eventually die?

If so, what is a city’s average lifespan?

Please, don’t let London die...
