FDA ARCHITECTS, FAVERSHAM
I had a desk at FDA Architects while I was working on the SOUL Project, which was a bit of an eye-opener in terms of hand drawings! But it was good for feedback and encouragement and I also got to visit the new events space at St. Saviour’s Primary School in Westgate-on-Sea in Kent.
I hope this photo gives some justice to the amazing light in this room. The diffuse light coming in from the frosted glass on both the north and south facades, combined with the lantern like halo in the ceiling, gave a quality of light which could be mistaken for the south of France - not a cloudy winter day on the Kent coast... |
